Kindergarten Sight Word List

 

Sight words are the words seen most frequently when reading.  Many of the words do not "sound out" and need to be memorized in order to read fluently.  Help your child learn these sight words by making flashcards at home!  Index cards work well - and you can always make two sets to play "Memory" with the words.
